Q. Is the Hotel Saugatuck adults-only?
A. Yes, the Hotel Saugatuck is an adults-only property designed for couples seeking a peaceful, romantic escape. Our rooms are designed with couples in mind and are not suitable for children.  This is a 21+ property.

Q. Do any of your rooms sleep more than two people?
A. No, all of our rooms and cottages are designed for two adults in one king-size bed. No other configuration is available.  

Q. Does the Hotel Saugatuck accommodate pets?
A. For the safety and relaxation of our guests, we cannot accommodate pets.

Q. Do you always have a two-night minimum?
A. June - October, we typically have a two-night minimum for weekdays and weekends.
November - May, we typically only have a two-night minimum on weekends.
*We encourage guests to give us a call directly. We may have exceptions to this rule. 

Q. Do you have a waitlist?
A. Yes. Please give us a call directly or email us at innkeeper@thehotelsaugatuck.com with your name, desired dates and preferred room. 

Q. Do you host weddings or do room blocks for wedding parties?
A. No, we do not. 

Q. What Amenities are offered at The Hotel Saugatuck?
A. The Hotel Saugatuck offers a thoughtfully curated blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience for a truly relaxing stay. Each guest room includes a custom king bed with premium linens, a private spa-style bathroom, and a selection of high-end features like hydrotherapy tubs, Turkish towels, and individual climate control. Guests enjoy a complimentary in-room gourmet breakfast each morning, evening dessert delivery, snacks and drinks, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Rooms are also equipped with modern conveniences like a Keurig coffee maker, wet bar, mini-fridge, and microwave. Many rooms offer access to the peaceful pond-side patio—perfect for unwinding in a quiet, romantic setting.

Q. What is the difference between Cottages and Hotel Rooms?
A. Cottages are separate from the main hotel but still have all of the same amenities. Cottages feature an outdoor deck with chairs. Cottages are typically quieter than rooms in the main hotel because you share a wall with only one room.
Hotel Rooms are located inside the main hotel and have all of the same amenities as the cottages. Hotel rooms do not have outdoor decks. 

Q. Is the Hotel Sauguatuck within walking distance of downtown Saugatuck?
A. We are an easy 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown. If you plan to stay with us during the summer months, we strongly recommend parking your car at the hotel and walking downtown as parking can be a challenge.

Q. Do you allow early check-in?
A. The earliest arrival time we can offer is 2 pm. While we do our best to accommodate early check-in when requested, we cannot guarantee it will be available.

Q. I can’t arrive until after 7 pm. Is that okay/What should I do?
A. This is completely okay! Just send us a quick text to let us know you won’t arrive until after 7. We will set up your room and provide you with the necessary information.

Q. Do you allow late check-out?
A. The latest check-out time we can offer is noon. While we do our best to accommodate late check-out when requested, we cannot guarantee it will be available.

Q. Is parking available at the Hotel?
A. Yes. We have a large parking lot with enough space for all of our guests. 

Q. We plan to arrive early, can we park in your parking lot while we wait for our room?
A. We encourage our guests to use our parking lot when they arrive ahead of schedule.

Q. We have checked out, can we leave our car in the parking lot while we go into town?
A. We are not able to accommodate post-check-out parking. 

Q. Do you have a meeting/office space?
A. No, we do not offer a meeting/office space at this time. 

Q. Do you offer any on-site spa/massage options?
A. No, we do not offer spa packages or massages on-site.
